Alireza Kazemi Abadi, one of our country's leading jurists, has begun his mission as Iran's new ambassador to the Netherlands.
Event 6 Dr. Alireza Kazemi Abadi, the new Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Netherlands, arrives in the Netherlands on April 4 to begin his mission.

He holds a doctorate in international law from Shahid Beheshti University and King's College, London, and has been assistant secretary of justice for two years in two departments of intellectual property and international affairs.

Given that the city of The Hague is renowned as a city of peace and justice and has international legal bodies such as the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court and the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the experienced jurists. He has served in the legal departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice in the Netherlands.

With the interim order of the International Court of Justice refusing to recognize part of the US sanctions imposed on Iran, with the appointment of the new Iranian ambassador to the Netherlands, it is hoped that the Netherlands, as host of the International Court of Justice, will consider the interim order of this court. Given the EU's declaration of support for the brokerage, relations between the two countries will grow and expand in the areas of economic interest between the two countries. The Dutch have shown a tendency to develop economic relations, but according to Dr. Zarif, it is time for Europe to get wet for swimming.
